Executive Vice President
After receiving his law degree from Osgoode Hall Law School, Mr. de Gelder practiced law with a leading Canadian law firm for almost 25 years, with a focus on mergers and acquisitions, financings, corporate governance and financial services matters. He joined Stern Partners as Executive Vice President in 2005, and is involved in all aspects of the group's activities.
Mr. de Gelder is a past Executive Director of the British Columbia Securities Commission. He also serves, or has served, on a variety of corporate and community boards, including the Insurance Corporation of British Columbia, Discovery Fund (VCC) Ltd., the Vancouver Board of Trade and the Vancouver Art Gallery.
